He was born in Umatac, Guam on January 1, 1952 to the late Eduardo Q. and Veronica F. Quinata.
He was married to the late Vivian R. Quinata.
Johnny retired from Guam Power Authority as well as the ARMY National Guard.
He was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, but he regularly attended mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He had a passion for life and he was extremely proud of his heritage- as he would always say, "I'm 100% Chamorro and don't you forget that!!"
He is survived by his significant other, Maria "Hilda" Gonzalez; daughter, Jaimee Shelton(Bobbie), his grandchildren, Keyani, Nikko and Sadie; brothers, Eddie Quinata, Fred Quinata, Rudy Quinata; his sisters, Dorethea Santiago and Irene Quinata and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Antonio Quinata(Rosalia) and Norbert Quinata; sisters, Rosa Ogo(Pedro), Maria Quinata(Matias Angoco), Remedios Benavente(Edward) and Ellen Arceneaux; brother in laws, Jose Santiago and Mark Carbullido.
He will forever be in our hearts and memories.
