John Thomas Walker, age 80, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on April 4, 1931 in Denver, Colorado to Henry & Nellie Walker. John served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, June Ann Walker; children, Micheal J. Walker & wife, Kim, Mark A. Walker & wife, Jeannine, Melissa S. Bauer & husband, James, Marci A. Mayes & husband, Michael, and step-daughter, Susanne T. Stouffer & husband, Greg; and nine grandchildren. Visitation will start at 11:00 a.m. with a funeral services at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment with military honors will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
