John Terry Mills went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2012. Born in Roswell, NM Feb 19, 1931, he spent the majority of his life in San Antonio. A 1949 graduate of Brackenridge High School, he embarked on a 52 year career in the automotive industry following brief military service. His joy in pleasing customers exemplified his desire to honor his God daily. A man of quiet dignity and high integrity, Terry’s life was an example for all who knew him. A loving husband and proud father he leaves behind his wife of 56 years Janet Schaefer Mills; three sons: Dr. Timothy Mills of Alamogordo, NM; Mark Mills and wife Patricia of Conesus, NY; and Thomas Mills and wife Lisa of Katy, Texas. Terry is also survived by six grandchildren and one great grandson. A graveside service will be held on Wed May 23 at 10:30 at Sunset Memorial Park on Austin Hwy.
