John (Jack) Francis Doody entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in San Antonio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hortense Doody and son, Michael. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sandra Doody; his children, Lillian Saldivar, son, Kevin Doody and wife, Carole; grandchildren, Michelle Fleming and husband, Todd, Phillip Saldivar and wife, Beth, Shannon Darnell and husband, Brian; great-grandchildren, Amber, Wesley and Hayley Fleming, Cole, Lyla and Carly Darnell.
John was a charter member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and longtime member of St. Mark's Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 14, 2016, at Porter Loring Mortuary North. Service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 14, 2016 at Porter Loring North. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
