John O’Neill Bomer III, age 87, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospice in San Antonio. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 19, 1929 to John O’Neill Bomer, Jr. & Lamar Ryals Bomer.
John was a retired Goodyear employee of 35 years and was a long time member of Northeast Baptist Church of San Antonio.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Jane Moore Bomer; 4 children, John Bomer IV & wife Sissy of Houston, TX, Dan Bomer & wife Gail of West Memphis, AR, Dixie Neal Altman & husband Chuck of North Richland Hills, TX and Becky Madsen & husband Robert of Round Rock, TX and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Northeast Baptist Church, 2930 MacArthur View, San Antonio, TX 78217 followed by a 12 noon Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Children’s Ministry at Northeast Baptist Church.
