Uncle Honey Joe,

Little did anyone realize that the nickname I gave you when I was a toddler would be the one name that everybody in the Gonzales family would call you for the next 35 years. But you embraced it! I have so many wonderful childhood memories of time spent at your house, especially with Analise and Joemichael. You always treated your nieces and nephews as if we were also your children and your home was always open to us.

You shared your love of music with everyone and it inspired my love of rock & roll. To this day, I immediately think of you whenever I hear the song Hotel California by the Eagles. I remember you playing it on repeat and singing it at the top of your lungs every time. You had a great sense of humor, a big heart, and a deep love for your family and friends. I will miss you, but will always cherish the wonderful memories. 

We always enjoyed being around you Joe G. You were genuine, and your laugh was very contagious! Our fondest memories of you is when you, Johnny, and Danny came to our home with all your equipment and did your thing! You guys were The Enchanted Vision and we loved every minute of that night. And playing Marilyns songs with her and letting her sing with you was such an honor! We were so glad to see Jr, Danny, and the others honor you with some of your favorite songs from Enchanted Vision. We will love and remember you always, our precious nephew. Until we see you in Heaven…Base the Beat & Rock On!

I have so many memories of my nephew Joe G . He was such a good man but one year in his teen years I think he was 13 he came to shreveport and stayed with Renee and me . He brought us so many memories  but the thing I remember the most he played football for the Youree drive Spartans . He would look up and make sure I was watching him and when he came off the field you could see the pride of accomplishment on his face. Joe was so special to me and I will never forget the man he was. A man who was a good son a good father and family man But a man who loved God. So Goodnight my Nephew ,you will forever be in our hearts and minds. I love you Joe G hug aunt Renee for me . Till I see you in heaven ,GOODNIGHT JOE G.

Joe G .. I had the pleasure of meeting such a kind hearted soul. I remember all of our hang out weekends. You never asked anyone to be anything but themselves. 
You were one of kind,  I’ll always Remember your quote “ where you lay is where you stay” 
Such great memories. 
We will miss you abundantly.

Cousin Joe you will be missed.  They say our cousins are our first best friends and I believe that.   You're in Heaven now with some of your cousins; my son being one of them.  What a reunion you are all having.  We love you cousin.

Uncle "Honey" Joe, I could always count on you to make me laugh with your dry sense of humor, funny songs (such as "Pancakes ah Flappin"), and silly sayings (like "Chonemanner, I choose you!").  I admired your faith in God and fearless attitude.  You will be missed greatly.

Your Father was a kind Soul he will never be forgotten he leaves behind beautiful memories .

My dearest nephew, you are the most that looked  like your dad. I could see alot of him in you. I saw you as a kind,  gentle, and considerate man. I remember when all this live streaming became popular, you would explain it to me, but I just couldn't get it. You were willing to  come by and set it up for me.  I wish I had taken you up on it. I saw the pride and love you had for your kids. You left an imprint in everyone's heart that loved you. Make beautiful music in heaven. Love you.

Joe the few times I met you, you were always a gentlemen to me n I was appreciated of the way you n my son Dan got along.May you rest in peace. Dan's mom Gloria.

I didn't know you that well Joe but what I did know is that you were a cool dude and you raised fabulous children and I pray 🙏 you are resting in peace and that the good Lord is comforting your family at this time.. love from Dee Dee ( Dan's sister) 

Joe,  so many memories of the little blonde haired nephew! You were a sweet and considerate nephew who loved his children. Your legacy will live through them.  I'll miss playing Coin Master with you! You will be so missed and definitely loved. You can rest now. Oh, I'll cheer for your Cowboys every once in awhile in your honor!

My first-born son.  My little Pepito.  I love you always and forever. I will always miss our little talks at the table when you would come over.  I thank you for always coming over to be my TV tech . I always appreciated that you would come to do things for me and your mom.  You and bullit kept me company. Thank you for taking us in your home during winter storm and gave us shelter, food and water.  You accommodated us while you slept on the recliner and you gave us the beds to sleep on. You had such a kind loving heart

To my dear Son.  You were a walking miracle. You are now an angel and will be looking down on us.  Watching over us. You were my first born and I will forever love you my son.  The rains came down today and you are cleansed.  Tears of happiness from the sky because you no longer suffer.  God gained an angel. I love you forever my dear son, with all my heart and soul Joe 

You always encouraged me in my professional pursuits. Always told my to keep going and that you believed I could achieve great things. When I do achieve those I'll always remember your words of encouragement. I enjoyed the laughs and the bowling. Love you and miss you a ton already. 

My Brother you were such a loving soul. You were there for Me, Mom and Dad when we needed you.  You will be missed and never forgotten ❤
