He is preceded in death by his parents Venancio Espinoza & Anita Hildago, stepfather Louie Hildago; son, Jose Antonio Espinoza; brothers, Enrique Espinoza, Rudolph Espinoza, Alfredo Espinoza, and Raul Espinoza, and sister, Dolores Blancas.
He is survived by his long time Partner Suzie Fernandez; son and daughter-in-law, Ernest & Renee Espinoza;4 grandsons, Ernest, Damon, Sebastian, and Christion Espinoza, 2 granddaughters, Justice and Aubree, 6 great granddaughters and 2 great-grandsons and sisters Elvira Valle, Maria Montonya, brother Venancio Espinoza along with many nieces, nephews.
Jose loved lounging in the sun relaxing listening to music. Serving in the Army as a cook and later retiring from NISD as Head Custodian. His strong work ethics root back to his family as migrant farm workers at a young age. Always serious demeaner, very respectable, and respected good man.
A visitation for Joe will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78211, with a celebration of life to begin at 7:00 PM.
Inurnment at Fort Sam Houston will take place on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
