Joe E. Espinosa

Joe E. Espinosa was born on January 5, 1962 and went to be with our Lord on January 24, 2022. Joe was born in Leming, Texas. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He then went to St. Philips College and received his Master’s Mechanic Certification. He married Pauline Hernandez and helped raise her children. Joe was blessed with a daughter Chrystal G. Espinosa (deceased) and a son Joseph G. Espinosa Jr., from a previous marriage. He is preceded in death by his parents Emilio Espinosa and Emma (Espinosa) Acosta; siblings, Delia Martinez, Daniel and Rosemary Espinosa, Gilbert Espinosa, Michelle Acosta and Bill Jones. Domingo (James) Acosta III; granddaughter, Catalina Espinosa. He is survived by his wife Pauline (Hernandez) Espinosa; children Aaron Hernandez, Paula Hernandez; grandchildren, Jacob Espinosa Bellfy, Joseph Espinosa Jr, Cogen Espinosa Bellfy, Sadie Espinosa, Elliana Espinosa, Leonidas Espinosa and Anthony Hernandez as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. We lost a unique light that shined brightly, he was quick with a joke and wherever he went everyone knew he was there, he loved to make people laugh. Joe will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

A visitation for Joe will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. An interment will occur Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 11:30 AM at San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237.
