Joaquin Morales Corona, age 79, passed away on April 28, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas. He was a loving husband of 58 years and a devoted father and grandfather. He was a veteran who proudly served his country in both the Marines and the U.S. Army. Mr. Corona retired from the Civil Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Consuelo Corona; daughters, Rosemarie Carney and son-in-law Richard, and Linda Sarro and son-in-law Chris Ruiz; grandchildren, Rick Bernhardt and wife Amanda, Michael Bernhardt, Lisa Bernhardt; Jessica Sarro and Mallorie Sarro; sister, Lupe Gonzalez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
