She was born October 12, 1930, in Sinton, Texas and raised in Taft, Texas. Joan married William Brannon in 1963. She was an active longtime member of Coker United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Love Brannon and brother, Bill Rogers.
She is survived by her son, Will Brannon; daughter, Lea Clark and husband Randy; grandchildren, William Clark and Hannah Clark; and brother, Jack Rogers.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
