I didn't know Jo Ann very well until my senior year in high school. She was a sweet, happy person. My prayers are with her family.

I knew JoAnn since Bill Johnson purchased the Southside Reporter and I so enjoyed running into her when she came by the Prime Time Corp. office. She always had a smile and time for a conversation. She was such a gentle soul with a huge heart. I am better for having known Jo. I'm sure a bell rang and another angel got their wings, this time it was Jo. To her surviving family, I have the deepest sympathy for you all, your loss is unimaginable, I will pray God give you strength and guidance in the time of need and sorrow.

My family and the Millers have been friends all of my life.I grew up with all of the Miller kids. I am so sorry to hear of Jo Ann's passing. She was a beautiful person. My best to the whole family.

Jo Ann was my neighbor and my friend, our kids played together. We talked about the good times and the bad and helped eachother when we could. Unfortunately time got away from us. What a Beautiful Person Jo Ann was.  We went to Jr. & High School together and she always had a smile and kind words to say to everyone she knew.  Rest in Peace Jo Ann and know that your memory will live on through everyone who knew you.

I remember my first year as a cheerleader.  My old group of friends had chosen other paths, and I found myself in a new group of friends -- a group of cheerleaders, most of whom had been friends for a very long time.  I felt like an outcast.

Jo Ann took me under her wings and truly made me feel like part of their little cheer family.

I pray her new wings provide guidance for others in the same way her wings guided me.

I've known Jo Ann both in my personal life, and working with her at the Southside Reporter. Ours secrets were safe with one another. We drifted apart when the baby became ill. Hope we meet again - God willing.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Jo Ann. Growing up so close to the Miller family & going to school with Bev from Dan-Ann-Jim's though Highlands, I remember Jo Ann as such a lovely person.
Jo Ann was a happy spirit that left this world all too soon.
