Jo Ann Purdy currently of San Antonio, Texas passed away in her sleep on April 2, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles H. Purdy, her son, Daniel Purdy, of Houston, Texas, her daughter Susan Downey and Son in law, Matt Downey of Tampa, Florida, and four Granddaughters. She was born in Helena, Montana on March 22, 1933, and was preceded in death by her Mother, Genevieve Phiel, and brother, Charles Temple. In her early life, she was very active in Helena, Montana, Rainbow Girl activities. Later she was Worthy Matron in Bartlesville, Oklahoma Eastern Star. Her family will always remember her loving kindness and dignity.
