Retired SFC. Jimmy Limon Jr. Born June 25, 1942, was accepted into God’s loving arms on September 24, 2014 at the age of 72. He is preceded in death by his father Santiago Limon Sr., grandmother Felicitas Ramirez, and son-in-law J.R. Perez. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Isabel S. Limon, daughters Gina M. Limon-Perez and Vanessa S. Limon, grandchildren Layla R., Jonathan E., Alyssa, and Eric Perez; sister Dee Dee Rodriguez (Leonel), and numerous family and friends. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam and Desert Storm Wars. He retired Sergeant First Class after 22 years and from Civil Service at K.A.F.B after 23 years of employment. He was a member of the ACTS Community and was an active member at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church. He was a loving, honorable, strong and devoted man to all he loved and loved him. The family would like to thank his doctors, Dice, Schnitzler, Johnston, Abouzahr, and Encompass Hospice, with special thanks to his nurse Susie. He will be forever missed. Visitation will begin on Sunday, September 28, 2014 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A procession will depart the funeral home Monday, September 29, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Timothy Catholic Church. Internment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery No. 3.
