Jesus Badillo Zuniga

Jesus Badillo Zuniga entered into eternal rest on March 27, 2017 at the age of 76. He was born on July 16, 1940 in San Antonio, TX to Leonardo Zuniga-Mireles and Lucilla Badillo Zuniga. He is preceded in death by his son Leonard Zuniga. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Jane Zuniga; daughter: Lynda Zuniga; sons: Tommy Joe Zuniga, Carlos Zuniga; Daughter-in-law: Lilia Zuniga; grandchildren: Jesse Day, Joseph Zuniga, Samantha Zuniga, Stazy Zuniga, Dominique Zuniga, Trisha Zuniga, Jackie Zuniga, Logan Zuniga, Daniela Zuniga and Bobby Howe; Great-grandchildren: Noah Zuniga and Sterling Valdez and other loving family members and friends.

Jesse was a humble and kind man that loved spending every moment with his family, his family and children were very important to him. Jesus was a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was known for his love of the Whataburger with cheese and his sport teams; The San Antonio Spurs, the Dallas Cowboys, and The Longhorns. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 12 pm at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 2829 Ackerman Rd, Kirby, TX 78219, with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
