I am so very sorry for your loss. My time with Pops was brief, but the memories are warm and tender. The two of you made me feel so welcome. My thoughts are prayers are with you all.

Jesus was a sweet, kind and gentle man. He always had a smile and cheerful greeting. I enjoyed our talks at the Itc and I will miss him.

As a member of the clinical faculty at the Dental School, I had the honor and pleasure of working with Mr. Jesus Escobedo.  He was a meticulous fabricator of dental prosthetics and unfailingly good humored in his dealings with both faculty and students.  He was missed by the Dental School family when he retired and now will be missed by all of us, his fellow docents, here at the Institute of Texan Cultures.  God bless you Jesus!

Jesus was my friend and mentor at the Institute Of Texan Culture. He was a very kind and generous man. He had a special dedication to everything he did at the ITC. He had the admiration and respect of everyone at the museum and all who knew him. He often spoke so lovingly of his wife and family. He will be missed. Jesus has been in our prayers since he stopped coming to the museum for strength and patience. Shirley, you will continue to be in our prayers. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.

Pops was special! I always enjoyed our time together, we talked about many things, but there was one thing he was most proud of --- his family.  He loved his wife and all the kids and grandkids.  Now he is watching over them from above and will make sure that they continue to shine and thrive.  Rest in Peace Pops.

I too will miss Pops. He always made you feel welcome and glad to see you. When I was younger, he and Sis would take myself and my sister Gale down to DC after church to see various sights such as museums and monuments. Pops always had that 35mm camera with him and took pictures of the day. Since my own Dad was gone, Pops took over some of the things a Dad would do. He taught me to swim, took us to the beach, rides in the country, picnics and ball games. When I got older, he taught me how to drive on the back roads of Fort Lenard Wood. That was one thing he never would admit too based on the driving habits I picked up on my own.

Pops was always good to me and we enjoyed the bantering back and forth whenever the Cowboys and Redskins played. He left me with plenty of good memories. But the best thing is the great Nephews and Nieces I gained.

Thanks for all of it Pops. You will be remembered by many. Rest in peace

I will miss my grandpa. I will never forget the time when I was a little boy about 5 or so and I took my grandpa on a tour of our wooded land, 25 acres back then.  He never worried about getting lost or at least he didn't let on that he was worried.  We had to constantly stop because at my height, I kept walking thru spider webs and getting them in my eyes but grandpa would get them out for me and we would keep walking. I believe my grandpa is in heaven and enjoying himself walking all over the place and I will see him again one day.  Love you Grandpa...
