Jesus Castorena, born on August 10, 1918 in Durango, Durango, Mexico was called to be with our Lord on September 21, 2016 at the age of 98. He is preceded in death by his wife, Francisca Castorena. He is survived by his children, Rosa Maria Castorena, Jesus Mario Castorena (Joyce) and Maria De Lourdes Gonzalez (Roberto); grandchildren, Jessica Mayra Castorena, Jesus Mario Castorena, Lourdes Bernadette Garcia (Jacob) and Carla Esmeralda Cardenas (Marco); great grandchildren. Layla Alexandra Garcia, Lucy Abigail Garcia. The Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. John Berchmans’ Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2.
