Jesse Alfred Salas

Jesse Alfred Salas born on September 23, 1948 in San Antonio, TX went to be the our Lord on October 14, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents Jose A. and Celia Salas; his brother Raymond. He is survived by his wife Linda; two sons and 1 daughter; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister. He attended Little Flower School. Graduated from Holy Cross, 1967. He attended St. Phillip’s College and joined the Air Force. He worked at the Post Office and was a Fire Fighter at Kelly and Lackland for 35 years. Jesse enjoyed fishing, hunting , bingo and poker. He was a member of the VFW 4815. A faithful volunteer for San Jose Nursing Home. He enjoyed football,baseball and softball at the Holy Cross Alumni tournaments. A special Thank you to all his bingo buddies; poker friends & Chiefy (Smitty), his best friend who stayed by his side to the very end. Visitation on October 19th Wednesday at 5:00pm at Trevino funeral home. Funeral Mass at Little Flower Church on October 20th Thursday at 9:00am interment at Fort Sam National Cemetery at 11:15 am.
