Jesse was born to Jesus Peña and Josefina R. Peña, February 1959, in Laredo, Texas. He graduated from Martin High School in 1977. He married Ana Macaranas in 1996, and they lived together in San Antonio, Texas.
He is survived by Ana Pena. He also leaves to cherish his memory brother and sister: David Peña, Nora P. Medina , Alejo Medina, nieces and nephews: Christopher J. Lopez, Niria Vianey, Alyssa Medina, Catherine Peña, and David Qualley.
A visitation for Jesse will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A rosary service will occur Monday, April 8, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 7893 Grissom Rd, San Antonio, TX 78251. A committal service will occur Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
