Jerome E. Smith age 55, passed away February 27, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on March 6, 1957 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur L. Smith. He is survived by his mother, Ruth E. Smith; sons, Marcus A. Smith and Sean Smith; daughter, Jena Smith; brother, Charles G. McCowan; sister, Doris Baldwin; best friend and cousin Gary Franklin and extended loving family. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Army Military Honors.
