Jeff Koch, loving husband, father and brother, passed peacefully on May 10, 2017. He was born in Cleveland, OH in 1954, and spent part of his childhood in Detroit, Michigan. As a child Jeff developed a love for lizards, toads, snakes and bugs, a passion that remained throughout his life. His first career was that of a musician and teacher, having self-taught himself the guitar as a teen. In 1982, Jeff followed his brother to San Antonio. After attending St. Phillip’s culinary program, Jeff began working at Boudro’s on the Riverwalk, where he remained for 22 years. Jeff’s passions for critters, music and food blessed the lives of his family and friends. He found joy in peeking under rocks, perfecting his burger, and picking on his guitar. Most of all he loved being with his family.
