Jeanette M. Boyle

Jeanette M. Boyle, age 79, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. Jeanette was born on November 9, 1943, in Weehawken, New Jersey to Oscar and Mary Richter. Jeanette came to know Jesus as an adult. She made a confession of her faith and was baptized. Jeanette developed her testimony as to why she accepted Jesus as her Savior and became a bold witness for Jesus. Jeanette dedicated a good part of her life serving the Lord as a member of Campus Crusade for Christ; later known as CRU Ministries. Over twenty years in this ministry, Jeanette taught and encouraged thousands of trainees from Lackland AFB, Parris Island, and Ft. Sam Houston about Jesus. Hundreds of military men and women came to know and trust Jesus as a result of her dedicated work in these Sunday School classes. Jeanette seldom missed an opportunity to ask others about their relationships with Jesus; she was always ready to give a tract about salvation, give her testimony, or offer a prayer for those she met. Jeanette was a faithful member of the Prayer Team at A Place for Life Church.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents: Oscar and Mary Richter; and her brother and sister, Robert and Barbara Richter.

Jeanette is survived by her husband, William John Boyle Jr.; daughters, Joy Goo and Sherrie Wong; sons Kenneth Lum, Anthony Lum, William J. Boyle III and Charles Boyle Jr.; grandsons Kenneth Lum Jr, Matthew Lum, Justin Lum and Zachary Lum.
