Jayne Harris, born on April 11, 1928 in Alice, Texas went home to her Lord and Savior on February 27. Survivors include daughters, Jayne Lightfoot & husband Waymond and Cheryl Harris; sons, Daniel & Bobby Harris; 16 grandchildren; 5 great–grandchildren; sister, Bettye King; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Jayne served several charities including the Vietnam Memorial and the Alpha Home. Her commitment & work with the Republican Party earned her induction into the Texas Republican Women’s Hall of Fame. She served faithfully and selflessly at Wayside Chapel. She will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Wayside Chapel, 1705 NW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78213.
