Jay Allen Lemire, loving son and brother, went to be with the Lord on February 02, 2011 at the age of 40. Jay graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School, Class of ’89. Jay had a lifelong commitment to Camp Camp, where he found solace and connection to other kids who had life threatening illnesses. Jay got his nickname “Cowboy” at camp when he was eight and still uses it today. He was a jeweler by trade and also found many hobbies that he enjoyed architecture, jewelry making, leather making, reading western novels, hunting, and most recently photography. Each and every day was lived to its fullest and it was simply done Jay’s Way. He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Marjorie Lemire; sister, Lisa Lemire; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 09, 2011 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 7139 Ray Bon. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
