Jason Avila, was a loving husband, father, son and friend, passed away on October 15, 2024, at the age of 39. He was born on September 12, 1985 to parents, Maria De Raquel Arenas and Ricardo Rocha Avila Sr. Jason lived a life filled with dedication to his family, work, and passions, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Jason was a truck driver by trade, a profession that took him on many roads, but his heart was always at home with his family. A man of many skills, Jason was truly a "jack of all trades." He worked as a city custodian, learning and doing all he could to provide for his loved ones. If something needed fixing, building, or doing, Jason was always ready to roll up his sleeves and get to work.
Jason was a man who loved to play pool and had a passion for raising roosters, a hobby that connected him with his roots and brought him joy. He also shared many memorable moments with his family, often gathering to watch movies together, cherishing those simple yet meaningful times.
In high school, Jason found love early on, marrying his high school sweetheart Stephanie, who had been his cheerleader while he was a football player. Their love story was a beautiful testament to the strength of their bond, which grew even stronger over the years.
Jason’s dedication to his family was unparalleled. He always put them first, and there was nothing he wouldn't do for them. His family, friends, and community will forever remember him as someone who lived life fully and generously.
