Janis Lara, born December 3, 1986 in San Antonio, Texas passed away on October 8, 2023 at the age of 36.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, Jesse & Sarah Lara and her uncle, Baltazar Lara.
She is survived by her father, Richard Lara and his wife, Rose Lara; her children, Sarah, Seth and Anthony; siblings, Patricia, Joe Ray, Richard Jr and Henry; Uncle and Aunts, Augustine, Naomi and Yvonne.
Janis was a free and wild spirit, and was known to be the life of the party. She always made a friend anywhere she went because of her nice and nonjudgmental personality. She enjoyed to wear her flannel shirts and cowboys boots. She loved to listen to music, especially rock and country. She liked to rescue animals and also enjoyed fishing with her kids and her boyfriend Ricky. We will miss Janis dearly, but she will forever live in our hearts.
