Born Janet Ann MacEachin, Janet passed away on August 3, 2019 at the age of 73 in San Antonio, TX where she lived the majority of her life. Janet was born on October 6, 1945 in Port Huron, MI to Donald MacEachin and Mae Niebauer who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, James Wagstaff, her daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca Minter and John Rectenwald and Sarah and Isaac Cline, her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jack, Caitlin, Matthew, Samantha, and Kate, and her sister, Mary Lehman, and brother Doug MacEachin.
Janet graduated from UT Austin and spent a distinguished career as a tax CPA, retiring only a few months prior to her death. She had a brilliant mind and a quick smile and was beloved of not only her family but all who met her due to her generous heart and love of people. There were none she loved more than her family to whom she gave generously and by whom she will be missed enormously. She enjoyed a good card game, crafts, sewing, and baking. A fiercely independent woman who could take charge but also loved to laugh. She will be missed.
Services will be held at the Chapel at Madison Estates, 8645 Fredericksburg Rd, San Antonio, TX 78240 at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 12, 2019.
