Janet Starr Carver

Janet is survived by her beloved daughters, Meghan Myers (Robert) and Cassie Carver; precious grandchildren, Jack Myers, Brooklynn Myers and Kate Myers; sisters, Deborah Fuchs, Sandra Bell, Cheryl Hill (Gary), Beverly Hernandez (Jerry); brother, Gary Miller (Victoria); numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. She was predeceased by her parents, L.S. and Marilynn Miller; sisters, Judy Gregory, Jo Ann Lewis, Diane Pegg; and niece, Kelli Lewis.

Janet was born on November 26, 1957, in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Highlands High School in 1976, then received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin in 1980. She spent her career as a financial analyst and credit manager in the oil, gas, and manufacturing industries.

Janet had a passion for her entire family. Spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews brought immense joy to her life. She also adored her “fur babies”, Ben and Zack, and loved them like children. Janet will always be remembered for her unconditional love, generosity, kindness, infectious smile, and contagious enthusiasm for life. She will be forever missed, and her loved ones will honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

An intimate graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 29th at 9:00 am at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas, 78218.
