Jane Pinkston

Jane Pinkston of San Antonio, Texas passed into eternal rest on December 14, 2022. She has joined in passing her parents, James and Frances Feeny; husband, Jack “Pinky” Ray Pinkston; sister, Alma Billingsley; daughter, Katherine Pinkston; and son, John Pinkston.

Jane was born on October 8, 1932 in Whitten, Arkansas where she stayed until the 1950’s when she met her loving husband, Pinky while he was training for the US Navy. The two enjoyed to travel and would spend 59 years of wedded bliss until his passing. A hard worker, Jane worked as both a secretary as well as a real estate agent in her lifetime. She was family oriented and greatly loved and cared for her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an active member of her church, Northern Hills Methodist in San Antonio, Texas.

Jane is survived by her sister, Jo Ann McDaniel (Lee); daughters Cindy Barrow and Susan Robinson; grandson Markus Robinson (Samantha); granddaughter, Mya Robinson; great grandsons Grayson and Killian Robinson; amongst many others whose lives she touched.

A visitation will be held for Jane at Sunset Funeral Home located at 1701 Austin Hwy on Sunday, 12/18/2022, from 5-8PM, with funeral services to follow the next day at 1PM.
