James Arthur Moore

Our dear beloved husband and father James (Jim) Arthur Moore, age 72, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on July 17, 1950 in Tulsa Oklahoma to Owen B. and Eileen A. Moore.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and sister Marilyn Hobson. He is survived by his wife Angie Moore and four children Jesse (Nikki), Jacklyn, Andrea (Reid), and Anthony (Stephanie). Jim was blessed with two grandchildren, Nixon and Mera. He also leaves behind a host of close family members and dear friends.

Jim graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Physiology in 1972. He then attended SW Oklahoma State University where he obtained a degree in Pharmacy in 1975. Jim was a dedicated pharmacist for 37 years until he retired in 2012.

If you knew Jim, you know he never met a stranger. He enjoyed talking to everyone he met and telling stories about his childhood and college experiences. He loved talking about cars, specifically Corvettes and sports cars. Everywhere he went, he would run into someone he knew, hence, the self-proclaimed title “Celebrity Pharmacist”.
