James Jim Patrick McLaurin

TSGT James P. McLaurin, Air Force Retired passed away suddenly on October 21, 2010 in San Antonio, TX. He is the Son of Kenneth & Dolores McLaurin of Virginia Beach and a graduate of Princess Anne High School. Survivors include his parents; Wife Janet and Son Samuel of Goose Creek, SC; Brothers Kenneth, Jr., and John; Sisters Susan Collett and Cathleen Hultin; Nephews, Nieces and Cousins. He had been employed with Baker Cable, EDS, and as a Realtor; and was relocating from work with GDH Consulting at the Naval School of Health Sciences, Portsmouth, VA to the Medical Education & Training Campus at Fort Sam Houston, TX.

James was an Iraq Freedom veteran with 22 years Air Force service. Significant

Personal awards include the Achievement Medal, 2 Commendation Medals, 2 NCO

Professional Military Education Ribbons, 6 Good Conduct Medals, and a number of

Service, Longevity Medals and Unit Awards. Duty stations included Las Vegas, NV; Vokel, Holland; RAF Lakenheath, UK; and, Offutt AFB, NE. with deployments to Turkey and Kuwait.
