James Albert Jones "Al" passed away peacefully at his home on March 24, 2014 in the company of his loving family. Born in Cranston, RI, he was the son of James and Mary (Galiego) Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Georgianna M. Jones, two sons Kenneth and Stephen Jones, two brothers Arthur Jones and Bobby Santos, one sister Elsie Ballou and two grandchildren. Al was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII. After moving to Texas, he worked as a real estate broker the remainder of his career. He enjoyed dining out, dancing, and socializing with friends. He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. A viewing and visitation will be held on March 31 from 5-9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East. A service will be held on April 1 at 10am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with an 11:30am interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston Cometary. Condolences may be offered at www.sunsetnorthfuneralhome.com.
