It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, and friend who touched the lives of so many with his kind heart and generous spirit. James William Heye Jr., aged 45, passed away on February 24, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion.
To his family, he was a devoted husband and father who always put his loved ones first. He cherished his wife and children, and they were the center of his world. He took great pride in being a good provider, and he worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed to live a happy life.
Beyond his family, he was also known for his passion for helping others. He had a talent for fixing cars and trucks, and opened Heye Truck Industries in 2020. James was always willing to drop everything he was doing to help someone in need. Whether it was a flat tire on the side of the road or a more complex mechanical issue, he was always there to lend a hand and make things right.
In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he dabbled in golfing. James loved nothing more than spending time outdoors, surrounded by the beauty of nature. He was always happiest when he was with his family, whether they were out on the lake or enjoying a round of golf together. He was also a member of Crown of Life Lutheran Church.
Those who knew him will always remember him as a kind and generous soul who lived his life with integrity and honor. He touched the lives of so many, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. James leaves behind his loving family; his wife Jaime Heye, his three sons Riley, Mason and Aiden Heye, his parents James Heye Sr. & Cathy Heye. His brother Jonathan Heye, his sisters Erin (JB) Heye-Ireland & Lindsay (Tommy) Stefan. His grandpa Dorrell Leming Jr., numerous nieces and nephews and his four legged companions; his dogs Chewy, Hope, Gizmo and Maddie & pigs Penny, Pepper and Spot.
We will miss him dearly, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before him, his grandparents Joseph Heye, Vivian Heye and Betty Leming.
Rest in peace, James William Heye Jr., and know that you will always be loved and remembered.
