His favorite hobbies were barbecuing, watching the Dallas Cowboys play and going to the river or beach. As well as spending time with family and friends, going to the movies, eating popcorn, his "nuggies", and drinking his Icee.
He graduated from St. Phillips College with a degree in Culinary Arts and became a chef with Capital Group.
James joined his father, Jose Guerrero, in heaven. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Guerrero; stepchildren, Terrence, Sabrina, and Meleena and goddaughters, Jalissa, Johanna and Justeen. Mother, Dora Guerrero and sisters, Jeanette, Judy and Megan Guerrero; Brother, Jesse and Tina Guerrero; Niece, Jessaylnn Guerrero and Nephew, John Anthony O’con. His father and mother in law, Jimmy and Isabel Ramirez. His brother and sister in law, Johnny and Jennifer Rangel and Ernesto and Andrea Zepeda.
He will forever be remembered for his playfulness, kindness, his laughter, and loving nature. And for always saying “I love you, be careful” before departing
