Lieutenant Colonel James D. “Jim” Bradley, USAF, age 81, went to be with God on August 10th, 2014. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri to parents Charles and Florence Johnson. He moved to Dallas and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He later attained his Master’s Degree in business. He joined the United States Air Force in 1958 and served 20 years, experiencing many international assignments one which lead to developing a strong affinity for Paris, France. In June of 1964, Jim married his wife Patricia and they shared 50 years of devoted love together. After retiring from the military, Jim continued his work as a registered Professional Engineer, opening American Engineering Association in San Antonio, Texas. He was proud to still be working up to his last days.
He is preceded in death by his brother Howard Bradley.
He is survived by his wife Patricia L. Bradley; two children, Phill Bradley & wife Shellie and Michelle (Bradley) Drobot & husband Glenn; two grandchildren, Bix and Brooke Bradley.
The funeral service will be at 12:30 pm on Friday August 15th, 2014 at St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 6070 Babcock, San Antonio, TX 78240. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with full Air Force honors.

Bradley was a respected member of the business community, a devout Catholic, steadfastly patriotic, a loving husband, a caring Father, and fun “Papa”. His positive and thoughtful demeanor will be deeply missed.
