Jack Dunn

Mr. Jack Dunn Sr., was born April 2, 1926 and went home to be with the Lord on April 22. 2021. He was born and raised in Laredo Tx. He is a navy vet who served in WWII, settled in San Antonio, Tx and worked civil service here in San Antonio for Kelly Air Force Base until his retirement. He was a Union Representative while working at Kelly and was also a member of the "League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC)". He is survived by 9 of his 11 children, Jack Dunn Jr. (Norma), Jane Dunn Gonzales, (Butch), June Dunn, Joyce Herrera (Jesus), James Dunn (Amelia), Jacob Dunn, Jeanne Martinez (Louis), Jacquelyn Dunn, JoAnn Dunn, John Dunn, Jessica Harper (Rick). He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Dunn, Father Elmer Dunn, Mother Elouisa Valdez, Sister Norma Mercado, daughters, Jane Dunn Gonzales, and June Dunn and Granddaughter Debbie Herrera. He has 22 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Our father loved helping others. He will be dearly missed and as Christians and believers in Jesus Christ we know that we will be reunited with both our parents one day."
