Israel G. Palacios Jr.

Israel Guzman Palacios Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Friday February 4th, 2022. A San Antonio native, Israel graduated from South San High School in 1967. From there he bravely answered the call of duty to protect his country enlisting in the U.S. Navy and fighting along side his fellow patriots in the Vietnam War. Upon his return Israel entered the field of Logistics, eventually becoming Operations Manager at RUAN TRUCKING where he oversaw and managed various routes and drivers in San Antonio, Texas.

Israel "Izzy" Palacios was born on Jan. 23, 1948 to parents Israel and Mary Palacios formerly (Guzman) who he joins in Heaven along wih his brother Abel G. Palacios and his dear sister Mary Frances Rodriguez (Gilbert). He is survived by His wife Pamela Ellen Palacios formerly (Niven), sisters Irene Jimenez (Adam), Naomi Gunderson (John) and Martha Heibner*. His daughters Brenda M. Garcia (Alfred) with kids Giovanni, Brandon, and Mariah. Jennifer L.Venegas (Steve) with kids Esteban (Lalo), Cristian (Cheeto) and Tatiana. His sons Israel (Matt) Palacios III with sons Gavin and Liam. Michael H. Palacios (RoseAnn) and Marcus A. Palacios. Numerous nieces, nephews and 2 great grandchildren. Many friends and loved ones are left with memories of Israel.

Israel is to be remembered as a man who loved his country and his family.
