She loved gardening, cooking for her family and she especially loved her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Maria Amalia Torres Salinas and Trinidad Salinas; her husband, Rene V. Martinez.
She is survived by her children, Olga M. Bownds (Darrell), Sandra L. Rodriguez (Leonard) and Rene S. Martinez (Melba Montalvo); granddaughters, Kelly Acevedo (Jose), Samantha L. Templin (Barry) and Amanda L. Leon (Alvaro); great grandchildren, Arabella Lorena Templin, Adalyn LeeAnn Templin, John Leonard Templin and Sophia Isabel Leon; sisters, Ofelia Campozano and Maria Cisneros.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at The Lourdes Grotto-ORC Chapel, 5712 Blanco Rd., San Antonio,TX 78216. Reception to follow at St. Eugene Hall, Building #42.
