Isaac Rodriguez Sr. was called on by the Lord to rejoice in the kingdom of Heaven with his soul at peace and to watch over his family on October 27, 2020. He has been reunited with his father, Mauro Rodriguez and his mother, Julia Vaquera. Along with his sisters Guadalupe Tovar, Rafaela Rodriguez, and brother Raul Rodriguez.
Isaac was born on November 13, 1951 in Cloete, Coahuila, Mexico and came to the United States at the age of 17. While later becoming a U.S. citizen.
In 1972, on their third date, he married Oralia Rodriguez, together they raised their children; Monica Mendoza (Mario Sr.), Isaac Rodriguez Jr., Christopher Rodriguez (Samantha), and Veronica Rodriguez.
The family that he began extends on to his eight grandchildren; Mario Jr., Diego, Esperanza, Dyandra, Divianna, Olivia, Evanity, and an unborn grandson. His great granddaughter Avyanna, and numerous nieces, nephews, and godsons.
Isaac will always be remembered for his work ethic and commitment to creating a foundation for his family. He was a hard headed man with a pure heart that always had a soft spot for his grandchildren and great granddaughter. The personality that he had always came with a joke, no matter the circumstances. The love that he had for his family was one that could go without words. He would express his love through his actions, whether it was driving out of town to help his children, opening the doors of his house for those he cared about, cheering at school functions, or waiting in the hospital for new arrivals. His pride was always in making sure his family was taken care of, even if that meant harder work for himself. He was the most selfless in matters to do with his family's joy.
In lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made to Heart of Texas Hospice in Isaac's name for their exceptional service and devotion to his care and comfort.
