Irma Alfaro Valles, born on December 15, 1919 in Mexico was called to be with the Lord on March 2, 2017 at the age of 97. She is preceded in death by her, mother, Guadalupe Gutierrez and son, Roger A. Cardenas. She is survived by her sons, Louis A. Cardenas, Ronald A. Cardenas and Joseph E. Sanchez III; her granddaughter she raised as her own, Rachel A. Jimenez and husband, Joseph; also, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren in California and Texas. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017 followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Christ The King Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2.
