Irene Ramirez

She was preceded in death by her mother, Esperanza Salas Martinez; father, Hipolito Eugenio Martinez; step-father, Thomas C. Martinez her beloved husband, Oscar Hector Ramirez Sr. and brother, Oscar Henry Martinez.

She is survived by her loving children; Oscar Hector Ramirez Jr., Carmen Esperanza Ramirez Garza (Hector David Garza), Elvia Irene Ramirez Dutson (Robert F. Besfer), Rolando Arturo Ramirez (Esther Alma Ramirez); siblings, Thomas Geraldo Martinez, Marcos Antonio Martinez, Cynthia Carmel Martinez, Veronica Janet Martinez, Diana Angelina Martinez, Janie Martinez Longoria, Roland Martinez; grandchildren, Christina, Jessica, Roland, Ilianna, Nicolas, Carina, Andrea, Miguel, Gabriella, Samantha and Carlos; and great grandchildren, Lillian, Giselle, Gilbert and Madison. Irene is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A visitation will be held Monday, February 17, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church with a procession to follow for entombment at Sunset Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Irene's honor.
