Irene Gannon Mills was born in Czechoslovakia on January 29, 1927 and passed away in San Antonio, TX on May 22, 2013. She retired from Civil Service after 28 years of service. Irene was preceded in death by her son, Patrick John Gannon. She is survived by her son, Peter Wolfgang Gannon and wife, Edda; daughter, Karin E. Gannon, and David Bynum; granddaughters, Lauren Irene Gannon and Corinna Maria Gannon.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum 3000.
