Irene Sanchez Hurtado, born on June 28, 1937 in Eagle Pass, Texas was called to be with our Lord on February 7, 2016 at the age of 78. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Hurtado; parents, Manuel and Maria Sanchez; son, Luis Garcia; brother, Fidencio Sanchez; and sister, Dolores Gonzalez. She is survived by her children, Melissa P. Hurtado, Maria Raquel Gutierrez (Juan Alfredo Sr.)Yolanda Garcia Sandoval (Guadalupe H.),Maria Claire (Gerardo); 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren; brother, Jesus Z. Sanchez; her loving pet dog, Zulie; also, numerous nieces and nephews. The Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday February 16, 2016 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Interment will follow in First Memorial Park.
