We are here today to celebrate Irene Nicole Garcia life.
Irene Nicole Garcia was born on August 24,1988 to father Sebastian Garcia and mother Delphine
Casanova Torres.
Irene is survived by brothers Robert Gonzales Jr. and wife Brandy, and Martin
Gonzales; step-mom Mercedes Garcia, which she trusted her with her son Ezekiel and
Manny; and step-dad that she named Bo because her son Zeke could only say Bo. She is also survived by step-sister Rebecca Garcia; step-brothers George Garcia and Sebastian Garcia Jr., maternal grandmother Leonor Casanova Torres, uncle Richard Torres(Grace), aunty Ninfa T.Torres(Ruben), aunt Nora Mercado(David), Aunt Norma T.Pena (Nacho), and many cousins, beloved friends and neighbors.
Irene had mothered two sons Emmanuel Garcia (Manuel Garcia) and Ezekiel J Garcia(John Garza). Her sons were her heroes who she loved very much and never gave up as mom. She struggled raising them, as single mothers often do, but she would always say that she would be lost without them. We ask all of you to keep her sons in your prayers.
Irene was a very beautiful person. Often times we recall the memories that Irene shared with all of us,
especially her pride and joy; her nephews and nieces Brandon(Melody), Monique, Sammylyn, Baby Robert and Angel. Irene would always spend time with them and always told them to reach for the stars.
She often participated in their birthday parties and milestones in their lives. She often cooked for them
and had sleep overs to watch movies and to just “Chill” as she often said it. Irene had many cousins and
was always calling them to chat and to share her daily. Irene was always respectful of her neighbors and
always shared food with them when she had her parilladas. She had a passion for cooking and loved
dressing up and wearing makeup. Irene had an awesome way of making you feel welcome at her home. She would open her home to anyone in need of a place to stay till they got on their feet.
Irene loved Cheech and Chong memorabilia. When Irene started the 6th grade her dad took her to buy a
Cheech and Chong lunch box and proudly took it to school. Irene as a little girl wanted a lowrider bike for
her birthday and chose a purple one because it was her favorite color. She said purple because she was our "princess and royalty." Irene’s faith was what got her through financial hardships and always thanking God for his provision. Irene had an awesome relationship with everyone that knew her. She was close to her friends; she always called them and stayed in contact with them through thick and thin. Irene was a young mom and always said that it took a village to help her raise her children. She would always say ’I LOVE MY VILLIAGE PEOPLE”.
Irene even had a baby mommy and entrusted Valerie Ytuarte with her son Emmanuel. Irene and her cousin Nancy always got together and shared lots of good times, but she loved each and every one of her cousins. Irene loved to take photos with all her loved ones. Irene loved Columbiana music and dancing. Irene was not perfect as only God is but she showed Gods love through her hospitality. She had God in her heart and accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and savior just a few days before she was called home. Her smile and laugh will always live in our hearts. Today we remember the good times laughs and our sunshine with sadness, joy and thanksgiving to the lord Jesus Christ for allowing her thirty two years in our lives. She is our angel now. We thank the lord Jesus Christ that she was and always will be in our hearts and memories forever. Till we meet again.
