Inge Erna Ilse Geiger

Inge-R. Geiger, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. Inge was born on October 1, 1939, in Berlin, Germany. She immigrated to this country on August 5, 1960. On July 24, 1974, she was proud to become a citizen of the United States of America. Her mother, father, husband, and daughter precede her in death. She is survived by her brother, Wolf E. Friese, of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and daughter, Joyce J. Ivey of Portland, Oregon; as well as the three grandchildren, David Benito Moreno, Matthew Joshua Richard Moreno and Whitney Inge Moreno; and one great-grandchild, Madison Lynn Moreno. Son, Michael Geiger and his two children, Jared M. Geiger and Jessica M. Geiger also survive her.

She will be missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 10 am at the Concordia Lutheran Church, 16801 Huebner Rd; San Antonio, Texas with Rev. John Kammrath officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church Building Fund, San Antonio, Texas or Cal Farley’s Boys Home and Affiliates; Amarillo, Texas, or to a charity of donor’s choice.
