Helen E. Jessup was born in Boerne, TX to her parents Arthur & Dora Schulze. She attended school in Kendal County, graduating from Boerne High School in May 1938. She attended Business College in Houston, TX. Helen was a long time resident of San Antonio, TX. She and her husband of 62 years, was married on 18 September 1948. Helen traveled with her husband who was in the Air Force. As a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Helen became a librarian for the church and held that position for 30 years. When poor health caused her to give up extra activities, she devoted her time to the home. She is survived by her husband Col Wayne Jessup and many foreign students from around the world. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 8 from 1 to 3pm at Sunset Funeral Home on Austin Highway. Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 9, at 2:00pm at Christ Lutheran Church of Alamo Heights. 6720 Broadway.
