Helen Marie Lochte Ellebracht, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with her Lord on October 10, 2015 at the age of 86. She was born in Fredericksburg, TX on February 25, 1929 to Max Lochte and Margarethe Hilker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie L. Ellebracht and her sister, Virginia Stried. Helen is survived by her daughters, Diane Sulak and her husband, David, Betty Smith and her husband, Ken; grandchildren, Hannah and Andrew Smith; sister, Evelyn Pospick; brother, F. C. Lochte and his wife, Dorothy; and Helen’s loving and faithful K-9 companion, Cody. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of her life will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, 14700 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio, TX 78232. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
