I love you dad and miss you more than ever! As for me, you know I'm taking care of business ❣️ and the boys are taking care of their families like you always did. Josh is a junior and JoJo is a senior, Izzy started middle school, Vela is a diva, and Helios is the strongest baby ever! Time flies but at the same time, I feel stuck because it feels like yesterday you left. We love you so much ❤️ you are thoughtful of every single day. Xoxo

2024 time goes by so fast. I miss you immensely! You are always in my thoughts and my heart. As I live my  life you are right there! When different thoughts of how or what you would say.. I laugh because I know what you would say or do!! Your kids are great!! You're grandkids are you! Helios is a warrior like you! Vela-Kai looks like you and acts like you! As for Jojo, Josh and Izzy they are doing well, growing up really fast,  but I know you already know. You will always be of my heart and soul, until we meet again Brother.💕

I was fortunate to meet this beautiful family when we moved to San Antonio in 1974...... Irisema was my first friend in San Antonio.....I don't know a more loving family and know the loss of Hector is a big one!  He always had a smile on his face and I will pray for you all as I am sure this will be a difficult Christmas without him!  Many blessings until we see him again.  Love you all and hugs your way.  


I was so saddened to hear of Hector's passing! As a fellow member of the OOP at AT&T, I worked with Hector for the past 15+ years. I will truly miss his upbeat and carefree attitude! I took notice of him right away especially since whenever he had an issue he would pick up the phone & call me in person! Old school just like me! None of this IM, text, etc.  - He always gave it his personal touch and always his best effort!! You will truly be missed my friend and AT&T will never be the same for me!

I went to school with Hector.I have run into him a few times in the past few years. He was always so sweet and we were able to catch-up with each other a little. I will miss seeing him around. My prayers are with all of his family.

I never knew Hector "in person", but I sure felt like I did. He was so very helpful to me with so many things over a long time when it came to my elderly mother's, as well as my own, AT&T business. A consummate professional and an absolute gentleman.

He was always ultimately kind and compassionate and it was ever so obvious how very much he loved his family. My heart is absolutely broken for all of you. 

I pray for peace and comfort for you all.

Dear family,
Words cannot express our heartfelt sorrow for all of you. Hector was the sweetest cousin! His smile will be missed! I willl always remember how he would call to check up on me after Cousin Joe passed.  I remember Joe calling to express how touched he was when Hector and his wife and grandson had visited with him right before  his death. It meant the world to him. Now, Hector has to be in a better place with his dad and Joe and all our loved ones.  Please know that our family will continue to pray for Hector and all of you.  As each day passes try and lift each other up as he would want you to. Each day is a gift so make the most of today. God gave us the hope that someday we will be together with all our loved ones. Hold on to the hope.  Sami and Blanca know that you two are in our prayers for complete healing as well.  I truly believe that God will get you through  this  sorrow🙏.

Hector was my school mate and fellow operator services friend.  Such a wonderful person kind hearted, soft spoken great athlete in high school.  I will never forget my 5th grade Christmas gift from him chocolate covered cordial cherries, prayers and peace for all in his families until we meet again in heaven you will be missed.

Hector and I started together in operator sevices.  We hung out at my house and work.  Hector was such a great guy.  I left him behind only for him to catch up with me at 4119 Broadway.  He was a manager in sales and then worked for the office of the president.  I got plenty of calls asking for my help on accounts.  It was so great to see him at our building sweet, funny, and I am going to miss him ver much.  Rest in peace Hector we won't be the same without you

I worked with Hector for many years.  I also considered him a friend. I admired him so much for the man he was.  Though he was younger than me I always felt that he had so much more wisdom than I did.  He was there to lean on when you needed him. He had such self confidence and what a leader he was! In those memories are many good times and lots and lots of laughter.  This world will not be there same without you my friend!  You will be missed. May you rest in peace.

Hector has always been one of my favorite WC memories - he was, without fail, kind and respectful around me.  Enjoy heaven's benefits, my friend.

You can see by all these memories and photos how kind  he was such a amazing father and brother and son! I know there’s a after life and he’s all of our guardian angels now . Sad sad day,  life so precious and so unpredictable. You are greatly missed Mr. G WOW ❤️ 

My condolences to the entire family and friends, especially to Hector's pride and joy his grandchildren who I know brought him much joy! He will now be their guardian angel. Always remember your grand-daddy, keep the wonderful memories alive and live life the best you can to make him prouder. May God get you through the next days ahead. I have been their myself with the loss of my own daughter. I won't lie, I do not think you will even have the courage to read this message. But, I can say, it made me feel good to see so many loved my daughter, and I remember scrolling through the messages as fast as I could in order to hold back tears. But, I also write on here, for myself, I am consoling myself as I sit here and recall the fun times working as a coach leader under Belia Maldonado and Hector and I would joke that I was not only his peer but his assistant, because I always brought him his lunch. He kept in touch after I left that dept. and my husband (Raul) and I have always been very grateful for his friendship.  He always made sure we were okay with our own loss in 2015. May you have met my beautiful 25 year old Laura again in heaven. May you be able to tell her what I told you about her...hugs and kisses to heaven! Until we meet again. GOD BLESS US ALL. 

To  Hector’s friends and family ,

 I am part of Hector’s AT&T family, but I also considered him a friend!   So devastated that I won’t be able to pick up the phone and call Hector again ever!   Hector spoke at my retirement, and I will always remember Hector as a very honorable man, and a true leader in our company!  I was so impressed by his leadership.  He reported to me as one of my coach leaders  for many years.    He impressed by how well spoken he was.   As  A team leader, he  was a great mentor to his subordinates. They had a lot of respect and loyalty to him.
 I could always depend and rely on Hector‘s ability to lead the  San Antonio  Corporate Call Center  in my absence.    Hector was one of the few people I kept in touch with on a personal basis after my retirement. I truly enjoyed talking to him. 
 
 He always spoke so lovingly of his family, especially his grandchildren. I was just about to call him and share another photo of my grandson with him  when I saw the devastating news about his passing.   I regret  putting off that call! 

 My deepest condolences to his family. I cannot imagine their loss and grief. But I will pray that they are able to cope with this tremendous absence in their lives.  

 I will miss you my friend! Someday we will meet again!   Now you and God look upon your family and I pray you help them with their grief.

You are my rock and always will be...I’m at a loss for words and I can’t stop crying 😢 I was your one and only baby girl and I don’t want you to go dad! I can still hear you and feel you and my heart is shattered...I have so so many memories with you I can’t even begin...I’m thankful I was lucky enough to have you for 34 years! you will always watch over us I know it! I’m no longer scared to pass because I know you will be there with open arms....I miss you terribly and I’m not sure how I’m going to get through this...one day at a time...I love you dad with all of my heart 

My dear cousin, one of the youngest.  How I remember the excitement when Dad would say
the "Mailos" are coming to Alice.  I knew what that meant...running, chasing each other, endless horseplay.  Hectorito you were always so sweet and quiet and kind. I still remember those innocent days of our childhood.  I remember meeting your little grandson at cousin Joe's services too...the spitting image of our beloved Tio Mailo.  I remember how smart he was and how much Robert was impressed with his knowledge of football.   I know that your family will miss you so much, but you were blessed with a wonderful family starting with Tia Dalia, my blanquita and shema and your brother Mailo Jr. and then of course the best part of you...your twin dolly.  To your wife I send a big hug and prayers and to your lovely children the knowledge that you'll always be in their hearts no matter what.  Rest in peace primito.

Gonzalez; his children, Larissa Nicole, Carlos Javier (Josey), Nicholas Jesus; his grandchildren, Jovanah, Joshua, and Ismael J.; his siblings, Blanca V., Irasema, Ismael C., Jr. (Yolanda) and his twin sister, Dalia Martinez; and extended family.
