Hazel Pauline Oakley

Hazel P. Oakley, age 102, of San Antonio passed away peacefully Saturday morning February 13, 2016. Hazel was born in Manda Texas to Aaron and Amanda Gustafson. She was a skillful homemaker, devout Sunday school teacher and an avid reader and writer who found absolute joy in spending time with friends and family. Always grateful and appreciative with a brilliant sense of humor and flare for fashion, she brought life and light to every occasion.

Hazel is survived by her daughters Nancy Klapp and Linda Kay Tiller, sons-in-law William Klapp and William Mackie, grandchildren Robert Klapp, Andrea Marber, Elizabeth Hill, Cameron Mackie-Harlan, Kendall Dunaway, Kevin Mackie and Leah Scoggins and great-grandchildren Sinclaire Marber, Haley Marber, Hazel Hill, Hardy Hill, Calvin Hill, Kylie Klapp, Kevin Ortiz, Samantha Scoggins and Dylan Mackie-Hernandez .

A celebration of Hazel’s life will be held Tuesday February 16, 2016 at 9:30 am at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home 1701 Austin Hwy. San Antonio Texas 78218.
