Hazel D. Ellis, age 89, passed away at home with her family on Sunday, November 6, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Goforth, Texas to Robert & Lydia Teeler in 1922. Prior to moving to San Antonio she lived in Buda & Austin.

She worked at Joskes and Winns in the retail business. She was very loving & devoted to her family.

She will be dearly missed. Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Ellis, daughter, Vierenna Ellis and grandson, Ramsey Ellis. Survivors include her children, Tex, Stephanie and Stuart Ellis; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Interment will take place at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory may be made to The Leukemia, Lymphoma Society, 435 Isom #125, S.A., TX 78216 or Trinity Baptist Church.
