Harold Robert Poole, 85, of San Antonio Texas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2011. Harold was born June 9, 1925 in Nichols, IA. Harold is preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Faye (Hummel) Poole, and brother’s Don Poole and Dale Poole. He is survived by wife Erma Jean (Suggs) Poole, his sons Victor Poole and wife Nanette, Roy Poole and Billy Poole, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a brother Duane Poole and wife Hattie and their children, Laura, Gary, Jeffrey and Ricky, sister-in-laws Nanette Gwaltney and Nona Harrell. Harold worked at Industrial Communication until he retired at age 75.
Visitation will be 11-12:00 pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 with funeral services at 12:00 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
